Durastud™ - Mechanical Anchor Bolt
The expansion shell provides active end anchorage and the expandable ‘C’-section ensures the integrity of the prestressing should scaling take place around the collar of the hole.
FEATURES
- A standard 600mm section of expandable ‘C’profile steel tubing
- A filler valve with an indicator to show when the tube has been inflated correctly is fitted to the tube collar
- Variable lengths of 13,5mm high tensile fully threaded Unibar is swaged to the tube
- A spring loaded expansion shell to match the desired hole diameter is fitted to the Unibar
- The collar is fitted with a shear-off nut to correctly prestress the bolt before inflating it with water
- Tubing is inflated with water using a high pressure pump - 18-25 MPa
- A coupler can be fitted to cater for low stoping widths
